American Airlines延误赔偿DP

起因是1/24的PVG-DFW由于美南地区的暴雪冰冻被取消了,然后经过一系列改签之后必须从日本走。但是呢,AA系统卡bug了,导致我人到了柜台,被JL拒绝登机,说能看到我的票号,但是系统连的不是这个航班。无奈只能在上海被逼玩了三天。

回家之后联系客服赔偿。第一封邮件,打发要饭的给了7500miles。然后我用gpt给我写了一个回信,抓住逻辑漏洞,成功要求了酒店和吃饭的补偿。

感觉这一波csp延误险和aa补偿给我吃爽了

第一个客服先是说天气原因没有赔偿,但是呢又承认了出票有错误。这里我认为,作为低级别的客服,再没有完全确认之前,做好别主动commit这类用词。然后gpt就写了这封邮件,我一个词没改就回复了

Thank you for your detailed response and for acknowledging the ticketing error I. I appreciate that distinction being noted. However, I need to clarify an important point, as I believe the core issue of my complaint is still being mischaracterized.

To be clear, I am not disputing American Airlines’ policy regarding weather-related cancellations on January 24. I understand that hotel and meal reimbursement is not provided when disruptions are caused by weather, and I am not seeking compensation related to that cancellation.

My concern — and the basis of my request — is entirely focused on the ticketing error on the rebooked January 27 itinerary, which American Airlines has acknowledged was a mistake. This error directly resulted in my family being denied boarding, despite presenting ourselves for travel as scheduled, and forced an additional delay of three full days, until January 30.

The expenses incurred between January 27 and January 30 were not caused by weather, but by a controllable operational failure — namely, an incorrectly reissued infant ticket. These costs would not have existed had the ticket been issued correctly.

While I appreciate the goodwill gesture of 7,500 AAdvantage® miles per account, I must respectfully state that this does not reasonably address the actual financial losses and disruption caused by this service failure. Mileage credits, while appreciated, do not substitute for reimbursement of expenses that arose directly from an acknowledged airline error.

Given that this was an international itinerary, delays resulting from airline-caused errors fall under the scope of carrier responsibility, including reasonable accommodations and meals incurred as a result of such delays. I am therefore requesting that this case be reassessed with the delay properly attributed to the ticketing error, rather than grouped under the original weather cancellation.

I respectfully ask for:

  1. A reconsideration of this case that clearly separates the weather disruption from the subsequent ticketing failure; and

  2. Appropriate reimbursement or compensation that reflects the real impact of the ticketing error from January 27 to January 30.

I remain hopeful that this matter can be resolved in a way that reflects accountability and fairness, and I look forward to your follow-up.

然后就是转接给别的team去review了。当然,这之中我还follow up了好几次,但是得到的都是类似ai的回复。

AA积分虽香但是赔偿真的是被delta吊打无数圈,每次延误找AA最后都是抱歉但分文不给

可能我飞的少,目前两次找AA赔偿都给了。第一次是DFW-TPA,也是天气原因。直接把往返程的机票钱赔给我了。

暴雪延误aa只给了5000点,给ritz file了500/人,等结果(开销远超500/人)
箱子坏了寄给aa的vendor了,等结果

AA在赔偿这块确实抠门

Air France取消了我们二次飞机,被迫延误了3天。今天给我发邮件,说看了我发的收据,打算补我$74吃饭钱

我当年飞机因为机械故障被迫在dallas耽搁一天,结果就给了餐补。。。
