众所周知，9月18日起白金卡的Digital Entertainment Credit已经提高到了25刀且包含了YouTube服务。我今天在操作订阅时发现，只要有任意可以验证的学生身份，我们可以很轻松地用白金卡几乎免费地（取决于消费税）订阅到除了ESPN+之外的所有支持的服务 
话不多说，以下一个一个分析
The Wall Street Journal
WSJ是美国发行量最大的报纸。众所周知WSJ事实上拥有众多免费订阅的方法，除去泥潭帖子中讨论过的：
这种通过图书馆免费查阅（事实上的众多本地图书馆都提供这种方式）的方法之外，很多大学（例如PSU）都向拥有其学生账号的人提供免费的订阅。这种订阅亲测在学生账号被deactivate之后（ie，不再enroll到这个学校之后）依然长期有效，一分钱不花 。
除了这些技巧之外，WSJ还可以通过短信直接获取免费的电子版：
综合以上种种免费方法，本帖不推荐你将Digital Entertainment Credit浪费在WSJ上。因此本项消耗credit $0.00。

New York Times
NYT是美国发行量第二大的报纸。NYT与上面提到的WSJ一样，都有大量的本地图书馆（例如，加州的所有公共图书馆）和大学，甚至是免费在线服务提供有限时的订阅。一般而言，NYT的这些免费访问服务的订阅时限在24小时到72小时之间（也有例外，如上面WSJ中提到的PSU是一年），过期需要重新获得access code。你可以在这个链接非常轻松地查询你的大学是否提供了直接的NYT订阅。
如果你觉得每隔24到72小时都需要重新获得一次access code过于麻烦，或者你的本地图书馆、大学不提供相关订阅，那么NYT的第一年订阅（重新注册一个账号就有无数个第一年 ） 是每4周4美元，请注意开始订阅的时间不要在月初以避免两次扣款在同一个日历月的尴尬。因此本项消耗credit $4.00。
